So I woke up super early on my day off yet again. Didn't do much, went on the Lenscrafters website, thought about making an appointment but I'm too lazy and don't wanna drop the $100 to update my glue soaked broken glasses. Instead I deposited $100 on a poker site and played for 6 hours. I played extremely well, got unlucky in a few spots, and ended up down $9. Not bad for the unluckiness I dealt with. I was proud about the way I played, but seriously still question the site. It's crazy how bad I run, whatever. I played a little bit of cash games online. I need to relearn how to play those. It is completely different than live. I'd say if I have any leak in my poker talents, it would be online cash games. Well that and getting wasted and playing for big bucks.
Did a show at the Comedy Palace. God that's a long show. They start the show at 730 now. I left at ten and it was still going on. I had a drink before I went on stage (it was given to me). I think it either gave me a rush or I got somewhat drunk. I had my friend just write down words on a napkin and I'd try to make jokes. It was a bad idea. I had nothing planned and stumbled on my words a lot. It was kinda embarasssing. I tried talking to the crowd, but it's really tough at the Palace. I tried a few newer jokes, one that worked really well. Decent overall.
My friend went up late night. We tried a gag, where he messed up a bunch and I went up and consoled him. It made me laugh a lot, but the dreadful crowd didn't really get it. I think the comics enjoyed it, and if you can make comics laugh its probably a solid bit.
