So had my show at the Palace last night. And some people in the front row were not a fan of me. They would not shut up. I made fun of them, called them assholes, and they kept talking. I don't get why people are like that. They loved the black comic after me. The whole crowd did. People were telling him he was their favorite. He's funny don't get me wrong. His jokes are the typical hey I'm black let's laugh, hey big titties are great let's cheer. People laughed harder then they did at me, and one of the douches that didn't shut up during my set actually stood up and applauded. He's clearly funnier than me.
The show went a little too long, we probably had too many comics. I'm learning how to put together a show correctly, and I needed to keep the show 90 minutes. There was a slight lull in the show and people got tired I'd imagine. The waitresses gave the bills 45 minutes before the show ended. Not sure what the reasoning for that was. Anyways barely any of the people I asked to come came to the show. It's so pathetic. I hate promoting so damn much. I try to do all these different jokes because I think people will come and they don't want to hear the same jokes. But nope they flake. Lame.
Oh and a comic said to me as I was leaving, "what are you doing sunday?" when I said nothing, he said that's too bad. not really sure that was necessary. He was basically implying he has a show, and I don't. Sweet.
