Well I had a pretty good set at Winston's last night. It started off rocky as I started off with a new joke. Never a wise idea. I did a few new jokes last night. It felt good. I didn't drink before going on stage and that definately gives me a clearer mind. It really didn't feel like I was doing that great while I was up there. I felt I was getting laughs, but nothing crazy. Aout 10 people came up to me after and said I did well. That is a cool feeling.
The room was tough. Lot of people but they were paying attention off and on. I put myself up earlier then usual, and I think this helped a lot. The show had a few ups and downs, and the end was real rough. The crowd either got tired, or the last few comics didn't bring it. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to run the show. It is light years better since I took over, but I'm still not satisfied. I think it can be cut down a little bit, but they want to keep people there longer buying drinks. I'll figure it out.
