Palace fun

Performed at the Comedy Palace for the first time in like 6 months or so. Since they replaced me as teacher of the comedy class. It was weird being there. One of the managers said hello, but the one I dealt with for the most part stayed clear. He knows he screwed me and lied many, many times. Anyways. There was about 15, maybe 20 people there. The show was put on in the back room, which they called Back Door, which is strange. The main room was pretty full. Luckily they installed a 2nd set of doors so it was pretty sound proof back there. I went up in the "feature" spot. I was supposed to do 15, I think I did closer to 20. There were a few lulls as I was sprinkling in new and old jokes. I tried to end really strong, and ended meh. They surely weren't a regular comedy crowd, so some of the nuances of a typical crowd wasn't there. But I had a fun set. I forgot one new joke I wanted to work on, but for the most part I was happy with the set. Felt good to do 20 and want to keep going. I'm going to continue to stay focused I hope and keep writing and performing.
